Simple and effective ways to utilize the new moon:

-sit outside at night and meditate with a purpose. You want to pose a question in your mind at the beginning of your meditation and then see what comes through.

-take any (or all) of your crystals and place them outside (in a bag or container or freely, whatever works with your space) and let them soak in the dark night new moon energy.

-burn a candle with the intention of opening new doors, connecting with new people, or starting a new venture.

-write a list of things that would make your life better and then put it somewhere that you’ll see on a regular basis. If you have manifestations, write them as if you have already acquired them. Speak them out loud too.

-write your wishes on a bay leaf and burn it under an open sky to send positive energy surrounding your desire into the universe.

-sit in stillness and remember/honor your spirits, spirit guides, ancestors, passed loved ones.

Seriously just did this this morning when I saw something out the window on my deck from the corner of my eye. So much so that my 8 year old noticed and says
“What are you doing, Mom?”
😂🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel called out...because I absolutely have done this since I was a kid. I will even hold my gaze on the spot as I leave the room, pop back in and do the "I'm watching you" gesture for good measure.

Good morning!!!
Part of my site is being a platform of bringing awareness to current events and world issues along with cultivating conversations about spirituality.
In keeping with that vibe, Id like to point out awareness of the KOSA bill that is being discussed by our senate today.
Kid Online Safety Bill was orginally presented last year and shot down but they are back at it today.
As a parents and even more one that had a meltdown about my 8 year old trying to download chatting apps JUST last night, I’m all for a better protected system for our children on the internet. Last night, Jeremy and I had to have a very transparent conversation with Quinn about the dangers of the internet for children and pretty much explain that that is where the REAL boogie men are. Balancing that line of telling my daughter the truth and complete transparency (which is the route I choose to take as a parent) yet not completely terrifying her and plaguing her with a anxiety disorder was not easy.
Is every parent of this generation dealing with having to explain what actual reality is to internet artificial reality to their kids? Like the confusion with shows, movies compared to “real life” you tube shows? Like for awhile my daughter couldnt tell the difference from a sitcom show to the family reality shows on you tube. Well she’s not allowed on YouTube anymore so anyways….
With the state of the world and the fu**ed up reality of human trafficking, I had to have a incredibly difficult conversation with my 8 year old of what can happen from activity on the internet and what to do in a real life situation of abduction 😔
This is a conversation every parent should be having with their children who are old enough to rationalize.
This KOSA bill is great in theory yet flawed and will give insane access to private information and take away even MORE of the little privacy we have.
Please research and learn about the KOSA bill and be aware of how the government takes action if this bill is passed.
Contact your representative and speak out about this.
If this bill is passed, it’ll be a slippery slope sliding ass backwards into more of the 1984 vibe we are getting way too comfortable in.

We are far more powerful than we have been told.
