Mission is to assist families in the care of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing high quality residential services that meet each person’s unique needs. Vision is to have every person we serve have the same opportunity to enjoy their lives as individuals without disabilities. What Hanna Cares provides:
• Safe and healthy home environments
• Choice of who the
person lives with, and other choices that every individual makes such as when and what to eat, when to sleep, and what community activities they participate in
• Appropriate supports to live safely in the community
• Independent living skills training as outlined in each person’s Service Plan. Training may include:
Self-care skills (bathing, dressing, eating, and bowel, bladder, and menstrual care).
Nutrition and practicing making good nutritional choices when grocery shopping and meal planning.
Basic household skills such as cleaning and laundry.
Assistance with medications.
Money management, budgeting and bill paying.
Other assistance as identified in each person’s Service Plan.
• Community activities as chosen by the person receiving services
• Coordination of needed medical and dental care
• Coordination of needed transportation
