HAPPY FIRDAY!!🎉🥳

We had another incredible week packed with fun, creativity, and community exploration at our Adult Day Program for adults with special needs! Let's take a Look!
📸 Please Note: Not all of our wonderful photos from this week are included in this post – but don’t worry! A second post with more snapshots of our adventures is coming soon. Keep an eye out!

🚌 Community Outings This Week:
🎨 Denver Art Museum – We kicked off the week by diving into culture and creativity at the museum’s newest exhibit. The clients loved seeing the vibrant colors and stunning artwork on display.
👾 Arcade Fun – Lights, sounds, and tons of laughs! Everyone got a chance to try out classic and modern games during our trip to the arcade.
🦁 Denver Zoo – From lions to lemurs, our day at the zoo was filled with animal sightings and learning fun facts about our furry (and feathered!) friends.
🍦 Ice Cream Outing – What better way to beat the summer heat than with a sweet treat? The clients picked their favorite flavors and enjoyed some relaxing time together.
📚 Library Visit – We wound down the week with a calm and cozy visit to the local library. It was a peaceful afternoon filled with reading and reflection.

🎨 Daily Activities in the Program:

🎾 Indoor Balloon Tennis – It was all fun and games as clients got moving and played tennis using balloons. Lots of laughter and friendly competition!
🖌️ Canvas Painting – Our clients let their creativity shine as they painted beautiful masterpieces. Each piece was unique, just like each individual in our group.
🍓 Smoothie Making – We wrapped up the week with a hands-on kitchen activity making delicious, healthy smoothies – a hit with everyone!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! 🎉
Hello friends and families! We had another amazing week at our Adult Day Program, full of laughter, learning, creativity, and community connection. Let's take a look..👀

🎨 In-Center Activities:
Our clients had a blast participating in engaging group activities throughout the week.
🍓 We kicked off with a group discussion about our favorite fruits and veggies, followed by a fun coloring session where everyone brought their tasty favorites to life with color!
🏐 Indoor Volleyball: A friendly indoor game of volleyball brought out lots of smiles and team spirit.
🎨✂️ Initial letter craft: Each client got to cut out the first letter of their name and decorate it with bright yarn and colors — personal, creative, and so much fun!
🥗 Chicken Salad: preparing a delicious chicken salad together. Everyone took part in the process and, of course, enjoyed eating the fruits of their labor!

🐾 Special Guest Alert!
We had a very special visitor this week — Sven, our therapeutic support animal! Sven brought comfort, joy, and a few happy tail wags to our group.

🌍 Community Outings:
Our clients enjoyed daily outings into the community that were both fun and meaningful:
❤️ Volunteering at the Salvation Army, where they helped package dog food bags to donate. A beautiful way to give back!
🛍️ 🏓A visit to the Aurora Mall included window shopping, a friendly game of ping-pong, and lots of excitement at the town center’s arcade.
☀️ The splash park was a perfect way to cool off during the hot sunny day — laughter, water games, and joy all around!
📚 At the local library, clients enjoyed reading books and exploring the community computer area.
🌺 And finally, a breathtaking trip to the Denver Botanical Gardens, where the flowers were in full bloom and everyone took beautiful photos 📸

HAPPY FRIDAY! !🥳🎉
What an incredible week we’ve had at our Adult Day Program! This week, we took full advantage of the sunshine and got outside to enjoy nature, community connection, and fun-filled group activities that brought everyone together. This week's newsletter, I thought we would highlight our Grand Camping Trip at Cherry Creek State Park!☀️🏖️

🏕️ Camping Adventure at Cherry Creek Reservoir!
Our amazing group enjoyed beautiful Cherry Creek Reservoir! Clients had the opportunity to explore the outdoors, soak up the sun, and enjoy an unforgettable few days of fresh air and freedom.

🌊 Lake Time Fun: clients had an amazing time enjoying the lake, paddle boarding, and swimming with their friends! 🤿🌊Whether it was swimming in the lake or trying out paddle boarding, our group was all smiles and laughter. Everyone had the chance to challenge themselves, support one another, and celebrate every splash and paddle!

🏐 Volleyball & Team Bonding
From friendly volleyball matches to just relaxing together by the water, we shared so many great moments. The teamwork, encouragement, and cheer were in full swing!

🌭 Great Food, Even Better Company
Of course, no summer adventure is complete without some delicious eats! We grilled up juicy burgers and served up street-style hot dogs that hit the spot after a day of activity. 🌭🍔😋

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!🥳
We had an amazing and eventful week here at our Adult day program.With lots of outings and evermore crafts! Lets take a look and what we did...

🧑‍🍳 In the Program:
We kicked off the week by making a delicious fruit salad—our clients loved preparing and tasting the colorful, healthy treat! 🍓🍌🥝
Later in the week, we rolled up our sleeves to help clean up our local neighborhood—everyone took pride in giving back and keeping our community beautiful. 🧹🌎
We also made time for sensory exploration through engaging puzzle activities, helping to sharpen focus and motor skills while relaxing and having fun! 🧩👐

🚐 Out and About:
Our outings were full of sunshine, smiles, and adventure!
☀️ We had lunch at the local park, enjoyed the beautiful weather, and had a blast on the playground.
🎣 A visit to Bass Pro Shop gave everyone a chance to explore and check out the fun outdoor gear.
🍿 We enjoyed some popcorn and caught a great movie at the local theater—a crowd favorite!
🛍️ And to wrap up the week, we headed to the mall for a walk, window shopping, and great conversation.

We’re so proud of our clients for trying new things, supporting each other, and enjoying each day to the fullest. Stay tuned each week as we continue to learn, grow, and have fun—together!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!
Summer is starting to look nice here at Angels of Colorado Adult Day Program!☀️ We had another great week with our amazing clients so let's take a look at everything we did!! Make sure to stay toned for the rest of this week's pictures in our next post!

🧵 Creative Corner:
We kicked off the week with a hands-on art project — making beautiful dream catchers! Everyone got to design their own to take home, and they turned out fantastic. A wonderful way to express creativity and work together.

💪 Fitness Fun with GYMGUYZ:
We had a great gym session this week! With the help of our awesome partners at GYMGUYZ, our clients got moving, broke a sweat, and had a blast doing it. Staying active never felt so good!

🎈 Balloon Blast:
Laughter filled the room during our giant balloon game! It was a silly, high-energy activity that got everyone up and moving — and smiling from ear to ear.

🍝 Cooking with Care:
Our cooking activity was a huge hit — we made delicious pasta together! Clients helped prepare, cook, and of course, enjoy their homemade meals. It was a tasty team effort.

🌍 Out & About in the Community:
Each day, we explore somewhere new, and this week’s outings were extra special:
🐾 Denver Zoo – We saw lions, giraffes, monkeys, snakes and more! Everyone had a blast watching the animals and learning fun facts.🐍
🌊 Cherry Creek Reservoir – A peaceful trip to the lake with some time on the sand, soaking in the sunshine and scenic views.
❤️ Salvation Army – Giving back is important to us. Clients helped pick up trash and build boxes, proudly contributing to a good cause.
🌸 Nick’s Garden Center – Surrounded by spring flowers, fresh smells, and vibrant colors — it was a beautiful sensory experience!
