Happy Friday & HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳🎊☃️🕹️👾📚🪴

We wrapped up a wonderful first week of January, full of fun, learning, and fresh starts as we welcomed the New Year 2026 🎆

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to:
• Celebrating the New Year 2026 – We kicked things off by talking about new beginnings and sharing our excitement for the year ahead. 🥳
• Walking at the Park – We enjoyed some fresh winter air with a relaxing park walk, observing nature and staying active. 🍃
• Winter Crafts – Creativity was flowing as we made adorable cotton ball snowmen, practicing fine motor skills and having lots of fun. ☃️
• Library Visit – A trip to the library gave us time to explore books, listen to stories, and encourage a love of reading. 📖
• IKEA Adventure – We explored furniture and displays, sparking curiosity, imagination, and plenty of conversation. 🪑
• Nickel Play – A playful outing filled with movement, laughter, and hands-on fun. 👾

It was truly a great first week of January, and we’re excited for all the learning and adventures still to come. Thank you for being part of our journey — here’s to an amazing 2026 ahead!

Happy Tuesday!!
🎄🧣🧤🧑🏼‍🎄

We sincerely apologize for the lack of posts this month and truly appreciate your patience and continued support. We have been having some technical difficulties with our page. While we may have been a little quiet online, our days have been anything but quiet here—December has been filled with joy, laughter, creativity, and so many special moments! 🎄

Today, we’ll be sharing multiple posts packed with fun, festive photos that capture all the wonderful moments our clients have been enjoying! – From decorating our Christmas tree 🎄 together to making the cutest polar bears 🐻‍❄️out of cotton balls and creating gingerbread man crafts, our classrooms have been filled with creativity, laughter, and holiday cheer 🎁. We also had a blast decorating Christmas cookies,🍪 making beautiful handmade ornaments, and celebrating the season through hands-on activities everyone loved. 🥰

Our community outings were just as exciting! We spent time visiting the mall to admire all the holiday decorations, enjoyed lunch together 🥪 while out and about, explored the museum, 🦕band even treated ourselves to a fun trip to the movies and enjoyed yummy popcorn🍿

Each outing and activity brought smiles, great memories, and meaningful time spent together. 💛

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

This week in our Adult Day Program was full of creativity, fun, and community exploration!

🎨In the classroom:
Our wonderful clients enjoyed a variety of engaging and brain-stimulating activities. We kicked off the week with a lively bean bag throw, followed by sunflower coloring 🌻🖍️and fall-themed crafts that brought out everyone’s artistic side! 🧑🏼‍🎨🍂We also spent time painting leaves🍁🎨, adding beautiful colors to our fall décor. To wrap up the week on a delicious note, our clients worked together to make delicious breakfast burritos, which everyone loved!🌯😋

🚐Out in the community:
We stayed active and continued exploring new places! We had a blast at Nickel A Play, enjoying the arcade games and friendly competition.👾🕹️ We also visited the mall for lunch🍔, took a fun trip to Bass Pro Shops where we saw their beautiful big Christmas tree! 🎄We also explored aisles of creativity at Hobby Lobby, and even spent time relaxing at the movies 🎥🍿

We’re so grateful for another week of learning, laughter, and connection. 💛 Stay tuned for more moments next week which will wrap up November! 🍁

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
🍂🦁🖍️🎃🍞🍕🚔

Wow! We had another wonderful fall week full of creativity, community and memorable moments here at our Adult Day Program! 🐿️🍂

🖍️ In the classroom:
This week our lovely clients enjoyed baking delicious pumpkin bread 🎃, worked on word searches for great brain stimulation 🔎🧠 and explored a fun sensory activity by painting green spaghetti.🍝✅ They also spent time doing Thanksgiving crafts and coloring to get into the holiday spirit. 🦃🍁 And of course, we made plenty of time for dancing, 🕺 which always brings lots of smiles and energy to our days. 😁

🚐Out in the community:
We continued our volunteer work at the Salvation Army, helping give back in meaningful ways. ❤️ We had an exciting visit to the zoo where our wonderful caregivers took great photos of our clients with the cubs! 🦁 We enjoyed another beautiful fall day at the park,🍂and made a stop at Sam’s Club to share some tasty pizza.🍕 We also visited Bass Pro Shops,🐠 where the clients loved exploring all the interactive displays! A special highlight of the week was spending time talking with the Aurora Police,👮 giving our clients a chance to connect, ask questions, and build positive relationships.🚔

It was a wonderful week full of learning, laughter, and meaningfull experiences. 💛 We’re already looking forward to what next week brings! 🙂

What a wonderful first week of November we've had here at Angels of Colorado Adult Day program! 💛

🎨In the Classroom :

This week, our clients spent time working on a variety of crafts that allowed them to express their creativity and personal style! We also enjoyed completing puzzles together, which encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and patience in a fun and calming way. Oh boy, do our clients love doing puzzles! 🧩 We ended the week on a cozy, delicious note by making warm cinnamon apples.🍎 The clients helped mix and prepare everything, and the sweet fall smell filled the building.🍂 It was a comforting and tasty treat that everyone enjoyed! 😋

🍂🚐 Community Outings:

We had several wonderful community outings this week! We visited the Salvation Army, where clients practiced browsing and making thoughtful choices while shopping. 🛍️ We took advantage of the sunny fall weather with a relaxing visit to the park, enjoying fresh air and time outdoors.☀️🍂 Another favorite stop this week was the library, where clients explored books and enjoyed a peaceful environment. 📚Toward the end of the week, we went out shopping again and had fun exploring all the new Christmas decorations beginning to fill the shelves🎄Seeing the holiday season starting to take shape brought smiles and excitement to everyone! 🤩

💛We truly enjoyed each moment we shared this week, both in the classroom and out in the community. Thank you for continuing to support our program and the wonderful experiences we get to create together. We look forward to another great week ahead with our wonderful clients! ❤️

HAPPY FRIDAY!
🍁🎃🧩🛍️🏀🍽️
Wow! What a wonderful fall week we had! This week our clients got to enjoy spirit week with rocking their favorite character pajama, hats, shirts and costumes and enjoying some end of October festivities!

Inside the center, everyone stayed busy with engaging daily activities that help build focus, creativity, and teamwork — from puzzles and painting to coloring and friendly board games. Each day was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to express creativity and exercise those brains! 🧩🎨

Our daily community outings were just as exciting! We enjoyed a delicious lunch outing at Taco Bell 🌮 as well as Park Meadows! We took some amazing photos at the beautiful Botanical Gardens that was filled with pumpkins 🎃, spent time shopping around Walmart, and even had a blast playing games at the arcade! 🎯🛍️🌷
We love seeing our clients build friendships, explore new places, and continue developing life skills while having fun every day. 💙

Happy Fall Fest From AOC! 🍁🐿️🍂 Our clients had a wonderful time yesterday for our annual fall fest celebration! They enjoyed Nachos, Pizza, and of course, dessert, while waring their favorite costumes! We ended off the celebration with an awesome dance party. Our clients have the best dance moves! 🕺 We can't wait until the next party!
