✨ Special Friday Post 👩‍🍳🍓🍰

Our clients had such a great time during this week’s special activity! They spent time in the kitchen with our Front Desk Coordinator, and it was a wonderful experience for everyone. ❤️

Together, they made a delicious angel food cake berry truffle 🍰 filled with cream cheese, strawberries 🍓, and blueberries 🫐.

Clients enjoyed being hands-on by helping assemble the dessert and some even used a hand mixer for the very first time!

It was a fun and rewarding way to practice new skills, build confidence, and enjoy teamwork in the kitchen. 🧑‍🍳💛

Happy Friday!
☺️🌸🌨️🍓🦋🍿🎬

We hope everyone is staying warm & cozy on this snowy Friday! ❄️

🏠 In Center Activities:
This week our lovely clients stayed busy with lots of fun and creativity! We made paper roll butterfly crafts 🦋, created buzzing paper plate bumble bees 🐝, and designed pompom caterpillars with popsicle sticks 🐛. We also practiced sign language 🤟 and got active playing indoor volleyball 🏐. To top it all off, we made delicious mini pancakes 🥞—a sweet treat everyone enjoyed! It was a wonderful mix of creativity, learning, and fun!

🚐 Community & Outings:
We had another exciting week out and about! We spent time giving back by volunteering at the Salvation Army ❤️, enjoyed a trip to the movies 🎬, and explored the library 📚. We also visited the botanical garden 🌸, made a stop at Walmart 🛍️, and got some fresh air walking to the park 🌳 where we played catch and enjoyed the beautiful weather ⚾☀️

Special Friday Post ✨🍓🍌🍍

Our clients had such a great time during this week’s special activity! This time, our HR team joined them in the kitchen, making it a fun and engaging experience for everyone. ❤️

Together, they prepared a fresh and colorful fruit salad 🍓🍌🍎🍍. Clients enjoyed being hands-on by cutting up fruit, mixing everything together, and helping get it ready to share.

It was a fun and rewarding way to practice kitchen skills, teamwork, and healthy choices. 🧑🏼‍🍳✨

🏠In Center Activities:
This week our lovely clients practiced sign language 🤟, made pom-pom chicks 🐥, and played table ping pong 🏓. We also got creative by making pipe cleaner snails 🐌, designing beautiful butterfly sun catchers 🦋, and painting rocks 🎨🪨. It was a week full of creativity, learning, and smiles!

🚐Community & Outings:
We had so many exciting adventures 🚗, including trips to Walmart 🛍️, Target 🛒, and the mall 🏬. We explored the zoo 🦁, saw some cool elephants! 🐘We also went to the science museum 🔬, enjoyed a movie 🎬, and visited Stanley Marketplace 🏙️. We also spent time at the park with all this lovely weather we have been blessed with🌳, explored IKEA 🏠, and visited the History Museum 🏛️. 📸 We took so many amazing pictures—stay tuned for THREE photo posts coming up!

Developmental Pathways (DP) invites you to a virtual town hall to share important information on upcoming changes to Colorado’s Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) system being proposed and implemented by the State of Colorado.

During this session, we will review what the state has announced, including potential service reductions, possible impacts, and what these changes may mean for those in services.
We understand that system updates like these may raise questions or concerns. Our goal is to share information currently available from the state, answer questions to the extent possible, and help our community stay informed about anticipated next steps.

This town hall is intended for individuals supported by DP, their families and caregivers, and other community members who may be affected.

Special Friday Post ✨👩‍🍳🍝🍨

Our clients had such a great time during this special activity! Our Homecare Coordinator spent time with them in the kitchen, and it was a wonderful experience for everyone.❤️

Together, they cooked a delicious chicken Alfredo 🍝 and made ice cream sundaes 🍨 for dessert. Clients enjoyed being hands-on by cutting up the chicken🍗, preparing fruit 🍓 🍌, and helping set everything up for our lunch and dessert.

It was a fun and rewarding way to practice cooking skills and teamwork. 🧑🏼‍🍳

Happy Friday! 🐰🌸🧁🎶
We had a fun and busy week getting ready for Easter and enjoying time together! ☀️

This week at Angels of Colorado was full of creativity, learning, and great outings both indoors and out. 🏘️🚐

🏘️Indoor Activities:
We had a great time at the center working on fun and meaningful activities. Clients made bunny masks 🐰 and created Easter crafts, getting into the holiday spirit. We also baked and decorated cupcakes 🧁, which everyone really enjoyed. Throughout the week, clients worked on their goals sheets, focusing on personal growth and progress. It was a great mix of creativity, skill-building, and fun! 🎨

🚐Community & Outings:
We went on several fun outings this week! Clients visited Bass Pro Shops 🎣, enjoyed pizza that we brought back to the center 🍕, and spent time at the park enjoying the fresh air ☀️🌳. We also went to Boot Barn, where clients checked out hats and other items, and made a stop at IKEA, exploring and seeing all the different displays. Each outing gave clients a chance to explore, stay active, and enjoy time together in the community.
We’ll also be sharing a second special post highlighting the time our Homecare Coordinator spent with us cooking—so stay tuned! 👩‍🍳😄

Overall, it was a wonderful week filled with creativity, fun, and connection. Looking forward to another great week ahead! 💛

Happy Friday! ❤️🌼🪽🌸😎

Hope everyone is staying warm on this chilly day we got this week! 🌨️🥶

🏠 In Center Activites:
Our clients stayed busy this week with hands-on activities like making delicious lasagna 😋 together and getting into the Easter spirit 🐣with a cute bunny craft.🐰 We also spent time painting and coloring beautiful flower sheets,🌼 bringing lots of color and creativity into our days. 🎨

🚐 Community & Outings:
With the lovely weather sticking around, we enjoyed some great outdoor outings too! ☀️ A trip to the zoo was a highlight, 🐒 and everyone loved getting out and soaking up the sunshine. 🦁☀️We also had a blast on our community adventures—visiting the mall where we took fun pictures with a bunny marshmallow plush 🐰band enjoyed a tasty lunch together.🍟 Another favorite stop was Walmart, where our clients tried on some cool sunglasses 🕶️(they were definitely looking stylish 😎) and explored all the festive items in the Easter aisle. 🐣🐰🪺To top it all off, we spent time giving back by volunteering at the Salvation Army, showing kindness and support to our community. ❤️

We can’t wait to welcome the month of April next week and see all the new memories it will bring! 🌷🌼☀️🌺🌸

Happy Friday! ☀️🍦🏐🍟👾📚🎭☘️

Wow! We've had some very warm days this week—it’s already starting to feel like summer! ☀️

This week at Angels of Colorado was full of fun, creativity, and exploration both indoors and outdoors. 🏘️🚐

🏘️Indoor Activities:
We enjoyed a variety of engaging indoor activities. Everyone participated in solving crossword puzzles 🧩, which helped build problem-solving skills and teamwork. In celebration of St. Patricks Day☘️, we made leprechaun crafts and wore green 💚while enjoying festive snacks together. We also spent time in the kitchen making delicious homemade potato wedges 🥔. Alongside our activities, we had meaningful conversations about coping with stress and ways to manage our emotions in healthy ways. 💛 Creative highlights of the week included making colorful bracelets, and a cotton ball cloud craft☁️, allowing everyone to express their artistic side. 🎨

🚐Community & Outings:
We went to the mall to look around, visited the library, and made a stop at Target 🎯 Additionally, we had exciting trips to museums, including two science museums, 🔭where we learned and discovered new things through hands-on exhibits. Another highlight of the week was attending a play🎭, which was a fun and enriching experience for everyone. We also had some arcade fun 👾🕹️and enjoyed tasty snacks at Sam’s Club during one of our outings. 🍦🥨We made the most of the beautiful weather by spending time outdoors at the park ☀️ At the park, we stayed active with jump rope and volleyball 🏐, drew on the sidewalk with chalk , and enjoyed some delicious ice cream together as a special treat.🍦

Overall, it was a wonderful week filled with learning, creativity, celebration, and connection! 💛
