Why are food allergies developing in adulthood? 🧐

A shocking study published in JAMA Open Network showed a shocking 20% of adults reported a food allergy and 50% of those didn’t develop until adulthood!

What is changing? Our food? Our immunity? Our environment?

Do you remember this episode? 😬

Jenny McCarthy was talking to The Doctors and it got heated. Not because data was being thrown back and forth, but because two claims about vaccines and autism led to a very defensive Doctor who felt personally attacked. Why?!

I do believe this doctor wants healthy kids. I think a lot do. But his vaccine infallibility worldview turns any question of vaccines into an attack.

I am not saying vaccines absolutely cause autism. But it absolutely has NOT been ruled out! Parents everywhere claim a major change in their children after vaccines. This must be studied…and with good methods and ethics!

Are RFK Jr and the CDC to blame for the measles outbreaks? 🧐

The news sure wants us to think so! 😬

But here is the thing, the measles vaccine remains a recommended vaccine despite other changes to the childhood immunization schedule.

MMR uptake is still well over 90% in most of the country.

Not enough time has passed to reduce the vaccine uptake enough to be the cause of any outbreak. Maybe in a few years? Sure. But not two months.

Uptake of the vaccine dropped a few percents after Covid, not because of RFK Jr or the CDC. The mandates and policies of 2020 are most likely to blame for poorer vaccination rates, and rightfully so!

Informed consent includes information that the medical community does not always want to share with you. Well, I respect you and think you should have as much of the information and education as possible to make informed decisions.

JAMA reporting decrease in Hepatitis B vaccination 💉 in newborns. But we are still above where we were in 2017.

Also, the decline started BEFORE RFK Jr, CDC updates, and Trump, but they will be blamed.

Honestly, I think a lot of parents realized we were lied to in 2020 and are starting to question all the rest. The hepatitis B vaccine is one of the easiest to make a decision on based on risk factors.
