Abundance Center for Change

Abundance Center for Change We are a Medicaid and Department of Corrections Approved Provider for outpatient addiction treatment

Our goal is to provide a wide spectrum of services within the recovery community by providing Recovery Coaching and Substance Abuse related classes to an underserved and marginalized demographic of society, as well as the option for intensive one on one coaching, companionship, intervention and transport for our private pay clients, who are seeking an alternative to other treatment settings. We kn

ow that getting clean and sober is extremely difficult, even with a multitude of resources and finances, well enough someone who doesn’t have the financial means or has been recently released and struggling just to make ends meet. This is why we have set up our services to be able to bill through Medicaid. Our aim is to keep people from falling through the cracks and back into their old patterns, simply because they couldn’t get the help they needed. After the initial assessment, we partner each client with their own Recovery Coach, ideally a well-matched one and have them begin working together step by step to put life back on the right track. This is also true for people that are seeking the completion of classes to satisfy court requirements. We want everyone that comes through our doors to be held accountable to being a different person when they leave. Between my co-owner Kristin Lundquist and myself, we have nearly two decades of combined experience in the recovery community. Each of us has taken different pathways in our own sobriety and overcoming addiction and incarceration, which led us into the realm of giving back. After working together in the residential treatment setting for multiple years, we began to notice the gaps in the system, no matter what type of program, that led people back into relapse and repeating the process. After we made the leap to go out on own, we developed a business model and strategy that fills in the gaps of the recovery process and holds people step by step, throughout the long-term process of building a new life. We are set up to bill services through Medicaid, which has opened the door for reaching a wider range of clients that typically fall through the cracks and we are also Department of Corrections Approved Providers and thus able to begin offering court mandated classes. In addition, we also offer a wide range of sober services to cash-pay clients who are looking for an alternative option to in-patient or group treatment settings, such as sober companion, sober transport, sober monitoring, emergency intervention and accountability teams.
