Two years ago on September 7th, we lost a truly special colleague, Lisa Ankeny. Lisa was a dedicated BCBA, but more than that, she was a remarkable human being. Her compassion, creativity, and determination made a lasting impact on everyone at our clinic.

One way we continue to honor her legacy is through the Resource Libraries that we have established in each region in her name. They are a fitting tribute, as these spaces provide resources for aspiring BCBAs to shape their practice and carry on her passion for learning and growth.

CAC was selected as one of 8 grantees in Colorado’s Opportunity Now program—an initiative to train Coloradans for in-demand, high‑wage jobs across the state.

The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade is committed to preserving and enhancing what makes our state a great place to live, work, start a business, raise a family, visit, and retire—while ensuring these opportunities are accessible to everyone.
This grant will enable us to broaden access transformative therapy throughout Colorado, particularly in under-resourced regions, by continuing to strengthen and expand our training programs for aspiring clinicians that can specialize in working with neurodivergent populations, including BCBAs, RBTs, Licensed Professional Counselors, and other mental health disciplines.

We're taking this opportunity to strengthen our training programs, through which we will:
💻Equip individuals with the latest industry skills
🎓Create pathways to rewarding, good-paying careers
📍Expand necessary therapies throughout rural Colorado
