Two more loads from my 13th season weighed out at 408 & 418 hulled pounds for a total of 2477. This seemed to be plagued from the start this year. Two week season, waiting last minute to extend the season one week at a time... then emergency surgery benched me for the last week. I'm just going to look towards brighter days to come in the next year...

My first haul was 971 hulled pounds! Nearly a half ton! Second haul (no photo) was 680 hulled pounds, and the season has extended for one more week!

Very soon the wild Black Walnuts will start falling, so we’re pleased to announce that beginning October 2nd, Hammons hulling stations across the Midwest will provide a market for freshly-fallen wild Black Walnuts. Thousands of folks will renew the fall tradition and create new memories by picking up and selling this natural, renewable resource. The opening price will be $16 per 100 pounds after hulling at over 180 hulling stations operating across 12 states. The price may change later in the season, so people are encouraged to get their nuts in soon after they hit the ground for best quality and value. Orange Sweet Potato slips ready to pot, Roma Tomato, Fish Pepper (variegated 😍), Green Jalapeño, Pepperoncini (great pickled for sandwiches), Shish*to (stir-fry pepper), Numex Joe Parker Chili, Anaheim Chili, Big Red Sweet, and Keystone Resistant Giant Sweet Peppers. The micro-dwarf tomatoes are coming along. Micro Tom, Fat Frog and Rosy Finch started with more to follow! Orange Hat, Regina Red, Inkspot, Pinocchio Orange and possibly others if I find the time. Elderberry and Pawpaw seedlings arriving this month in time for my plant sale, first two weekends of May! The other house is beginning to fill out nicely with lots of plants! Awesome squash and Zucchini varieties, plus gorgeous Sunflowers, Bok Choy, Tat Soi, and Easter Egg Eggplant! I gotta get a list made...
