Ed Contreras and the Swallow Hills Ukulele and Percussion Ensemble joined us this past Saturday for a round of lively music and cheer, filling the room with upbeat rhythms, bright melodies, and joyful vibes.
Music has a way of bringing us together, and here at Shalom Park, we are always excited to share in traditions like these.

A simple meal can become something extraordinary. ❤️
At Shalom Park, Care Partners, Families, and Elders come together to build connections that feel like home. Care Partner Charley and his wife Sarah share a meal every other month with Elders Marc and Marsey—laughing, storytelling, and creating bonds that last a lifetime.
Because it’s never just about the meal—it’s about belonging.

Moments like these are what make our community so special 💜
At Shalom Park, connections are formed in the simplest, most meaningful ways—through conversation, laughter, and shared experiences. Thank you, Phoebe, for bringing such kindness and joy to our elders. You help make Shalom Park feel like home.

🐾 Dogs are family too – and we love having them at Shalom Park!

There’s nothing like a wagging tail to brighten someone’s day. Whether they’re visiting a loved one or just soaking up some sunshine, our four-legged friends bring extra joy to our community.

To keep everyone safe and happy, we just ask that visitors bring proof of rabies vaccination to leave on file with our receptionist—quick and easy!
Come on by — we can’t wait to meet your four legged family members! 🐶💛

Chef Jim and the Morrison crew brought the heat to Shalom Park’s Teaching Kitchen, sharing the magic behind Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubilee — flames, fun, and fantastic flavors.

Fun fact: Bananas Foster was invented in New Orleans to help promote the city’s banana imports!

Sweet times at Shalom Park! 🍦

Elders enjoyed another Ice Cream Social during Mindy’s Discussion Group, where they explored the beauty and formation of the National Rocky Mountains — and topped it all off with a delicious frozen treat! We were thrilled to have students from Regis High School join us, bringing wonderful energy and making the afternoon even more meaningful.

Learning, laughter, and a little extra sweetness — that’s how we do it!

Serving with 💜 at Shalom Park

This week, students from Regis High School spent their time at Shalom Park, volunteering and building meaningful connections with residents. From leading activities – pickleball, board games, arts and craft to sharing stories and laughter, the students experienced the true joy of service and community.
We’re proud of the compassion, leadership, and kindness they brought to Shalom Park — and grateful for the residents who welcomed them so warmly.
