Today, we celebrate vision. We celebrate collaboration. We celebrate YOU.

March 23 marks World Optometry Day, and we’re proud to recognize World Optometry Week (March 22–28) alongside colleagues around the globe!

This year’s theme, “A Shared Vision: Collaboration in Global Eye Care,” highlights something we see every day in developmental optometry; progress happens when we work together.

At OVDRA, that collaboration comes to life through vision therapy.

✔️ Helping patients recover after brain injury
✔️ Supporting children struggling to learn and read
✔️ Guiding adults back to comfort, clarity, and confidence
✔️ Connecting providers committed to whole-person vision care

Vision therapy is where optometry expands beyond sight…and into how we live, learn, and interact with the world.

Today (and all year!) we celebrate the doctors, vision therapists, and teams who make that possible.

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month 💙

A brain injury can change how a person sees, processes, and interacts with the world — often in ways that aren’t immediately visible.

Blurred vision. Double vision. Difficulty focusing. Light sensitivity. Visual motion sensitivity.
These challenges are common… and often overlooked.

The good news? There is help.

Doctors trained in vision rehabilitation understand how to evaluate and treat the visual consequences of brain injury — helping patients regain function, confidence, and quality of life.

✔️ Comprehensive visual evaluations
✔️ Individualized treatment plans
✔️ Real-world functional improvement

If you or someone you know is struggling after a concussion or brain injury, don’t wait.

Because recovery is possible — and the right care makes all the difference.
