A major milestone for the type 1 diabetes community 👏

The FDA has expanded approval of Tzield (teplizumab-mzwv)—now available for children as young as 1 to help delay the onset of type 1 diabetes.

Proud to see the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes help lead the research bringing this hope to families.

Did you know? Type 1 diabetes can be diagnosed at any age and requires constant decision-making every single day.

Although it used to be called ‘juvenile diabetes,’ that name no longer reflects reality—diagnosis isn’t limited to kids. In fact, over half of new diagnoses are in adults.

Awareness matters. 💙

Raising a child with both type 1 diabetes and autism brings unique daily challenges—but also moments of creativity, strength, and resilience. 💙

This blog shares one family’s experience navigating multiple diagnoses, finding small wins, and using creative strategies—like decorating insulin pumps—to help make daily management a little easier.

In recognition of Autism Acceptance Month this April, we honor the neurodiverse members of our T1D community and the families who support them. 🧩

Join us for a special lunch panel where YOU’ll have the chance to hear their stories, gain insight, and ask questions. This is a conversation you won’t want to miss!

Because living with T1D doesn’t limit what you can achieve—it proves just how strong you are. 💙
