Formerly known as Southlands Vision Associates, we are the sister practice to Altitude Eye Care at Park Meadows and Altitude Eye Care at Castle Rock! Our Success Story!

Dr. Chad Nicholson received his bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Alberta, followed by his doctorate degree in Optometry from the Pacific University College of Optometry in the spring of 2000. Dr. Kristen Nicholson earned her bachelor's degree in Physiology & Zoology at the University of Wyoming before earning her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2000 from the Pacific University College of Optometry, as well.

Chad and Kristen met and married during their time at Pacific University College of Optometry, and shortly afterward completing their educations and internships, they moved to Colorado to establish a home. Here, Chad practiced within the Doctors of Optometry Next to Lenscrafters at the Park Meadows Mall, while Kristen began her career at a practice in Parker, Colorado. In 2002, she joined Chad at the LensCrafters at the Park Meadows Mall.

In the fall of 2006, Chad and Kristen opened their own practice, Southlands Vision Associates, inside the LensCrafters at the Southlands Outdoor Mall.

In July of 2019, they opened their second practice, Altitude Eye Care, inside the LensCrafters at the Park Meadows Mall.
