Where it all began… 2 1/2 years ago I published a lyrical, Hope punk memoir about burnout. It was a tiny book that helped me and others see that none of us were alone in our work burnout struggle… One of my favorite parts of this journey, so far has been hearing from readers;

so many helpers read the ballad, then emailed me or sent me messages to say “I thought it was only me”

within 12 hours of the start here book launch, a friend texted me to say that her family got overwhelmed and picked up START HERE for relief; 🥲 💕

Just finished my annual MRI, grateful for everyone who’s working this Sunday morning. Four out of five stars for trauma, sensitive care, still think it would be better if they offered hospital pants to everyone so you don’t feel exposed in just your gown… But they also did a great job offering, soothing music and clear instructions about what was going to happen before it did
