Our Third Annual Family Arts Festival was a joyful celebration of creativity, connection, and community!

Yesterday, participants and their families came together to create beautiful art, share in meaningful moments, and celebrate one another. From hands-on projects to heartfelt conversations, the energy was full of warmth and laughter.

This past Saturday, our men’s BBQ was a low-key, fun time filled with good food, great fellowship, and plenty of catching up. It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and warmly welcome some new ones, too! Nothing like sharing stories, laughter, and uplifting spirits together. Looking forward to the next one!

Struggling to Pay Rent or Utilities? Help is available for Kane County residents through the Kane County Homeless Prevention Program — offering assistance with rent, utilities, and even security deposits to help stabilize housing.

🗓 Deadline to apply is July 31, 2025.

What’s Available:
✔️ Up to 12 months of past-due rent
✔️ Up to 3 months of future rent
✔️ Up to 12 months of unpaid utilities
✔️ Assistance with security deposits

To Qualify:
✅ Household income must not exceed 80% AMI
✅ Must not have applied previously to this program
✅ Must not have received federal aid for the same time period
✅ Must meet ONE of the following:
* Facing housing instability (past-due rent, utilities, unsafe conditions)
* Experiencing unemployment or reduced income

Our summer garden is thriving with vibrant blooms, fresh herbs, and hearty vegetables — a beautiful reminder of how life continues to grow, even through challenges. But what’s even more meaningful is the way friendships are blossoming alongside it.
