This November, we’re inviting the men to join us in No-Shave November — a fun and meaningful way to raise awareness and funds for our no-cost programs supporting people impacted by cancer.

You don’t need to grow a beard to take part! You can:

Celebrating Life Through Tradition.

This year marks the very first Día de los Mu***os ofrenda at Waterford Place — a beautiful tribute honoring life, love, and memory.

Our ofrenda serves as a celebration of life, inviting our community to reflect on the stories, strength, and enduring spirit of those touched by cancer. Through this display, we hope to bridge cultural expression and healing, reminding us that every life deserves to be remembered and celebrated.

We invite members of our community to take part in this celebration by submitting a 5x7 framed photo of a loved one or pet they wish to have remembered. The ofrenda will remain on display through November 4.

🎀 Care and Comfort for Our Survivors 🎀

A huge thank-you to the local corporate Nissan team for providing over 140 care packages for breast cancer survivors. Each included a beanie, socks, and gloves to bring warmth and support during treatment. 💖
A special thank-you to Nilofar Mulla for reaching out and helping to create this wonderful supportive partnership.

Your thoughtfulness is truly making an impact in our community. We’re so grateful for your support and for reminding our survivors that they don’t have to face this journey alone!

Our 4th Annual Hocus Pocus Family Focus was a Spooktacular Success!

Families came together at Waterford Place to celebrate Halloween in a fun, safe, and festive environment filled with candy tables, mask-making, candy bag decorating, and delicious mocktails!

A huge thank-you to our departmental friends from Rush Copley Medical Center for sponsoring the candy tables and raffle prizes — your support helped make this event extra special for our families.

We loved seeing all the creativity, costumes, and smiles throughout the night. Enjoy the photos from the event!

No-Shave November: Grow (a Beard) With Purpose!

This November, every whisker makes a difference! Join No-Shave November to grow awareness and raise funds for Waterford Place Cancer Resource Center, supporting free programs and services for those affected by cancer.

Participants will receive campaign updates, storytelling prompts, and the chance to be featured in our wrap-up event.

Here’s how to get involved:
1️⃣ Start clean-shaven on Nov. 1.
2️⃣ Let your beard grow all month long.
3️⃣ Share your journey and fundraising link with friends and family.
4️⃣ Join us on Dec. 1 for our live celebration event, where participants will have the option to have their beards trimmed or shaved by local professional barbers — including Sam Vega, from the Fade Away Barbershop, who has already confirmed his support!
