SMRT: Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique

I want to talk about how NY therapists receive CE credit from classes. Recently, I had a NY therapist message me about providing NY CEs. He believed that because I am no longer listed on the NY board website as a currently approved CE provider I cannot provide CE credit to NY therapists. This is incorrect.

Most CE instructors are sponsored by the NCBTMB to provide NY therapists with CE credit. After a NY licensed therapist takes a class, I submit a form to the NCBTMB and they provide the certificate. The therapist is provided CE credit in a way accepted by the NY board.

In 2012, when NY began to require CEs for license renewal, I applied for approval as a CE provider through the NY board. My company, Full Circle, was approved. Cost was $900 for three years. Sponsorship through the NCBTMB is (I believe) $50 each renewal period, which is every three years. My direct approval through the NY board expired in 2015. I have been sponsored through the NCBTMB since 2015 and have provided a couple hundred NY therapists with CE credit.

Las Vegas, NV has been scheduled! Prices will increase in 2 days!

From April 17-19, 2026, we will be teaching SMRT: Shoulder, Axilla, Ribcage, & Upper Back, an NCBTMB approved, 24 CE class, in Las Vegas.

If you register by July 3, 2025 with a deposit or full tuition, you pay $550. If you register after July 3, 2025 and before March 17, 2026, tuition is $650. If you register after March 17, 2026, tuition is $750.
