We moved our retail shelves out into the front lobby for easier, more intuitive shopping — so every person who walks through our doors is instantly welcomed by handcrafted products, holistic tools, and offerings made with intention by local small business owners 🛍️

And the best part? That shift allowed us to open up a brand new treatment room inside Zen Loft, making room (literally) for even more energy workers, facilitators, and visionaries to root their business within our sacred space!

This isn’t just a makeover, it’s a re-alignment with our mission: to create a thriving collective where wellness, creativity, and community intersect 🤗

Lola brings warmth, heart, and a decade of yoga practice to the Zen Loft Wellness Center community in downtown Aurora ✨🧘🏻‍♀️✨

With three years of teaching experience and a deep personal connection to the transformative power of yoga, Lola is known for creating inclusive spaces where every body feels welcome, seen, and supported.

Her yoga journey began over ten years ago, initially drawn in by the physical benefits. But it didn’t take long for her to realize yoga was so much more, it was a pathway to emotional clarity, mental peace, and a spiritual connection she hadn’t expected.

That passion led her to pursue her 200-Hour RYT Certification through LifePower Yoga in 2021, officially turning a personal practice into a lifelong calling.

Now, as a new mother to a beautiful baby girl, Lola understands more than ever how vital it is to take time for yourself…to move, breathe, and be.

She believes yoga is not just about the poses, it’s about returning to yourself, grounding your nervous system, and nurturing your body and spirit through every season of life!

Phil offers a broad range of music services from guitar, bass, trombone, and ukulele lessons to restringing, song transcription, composition feedback, restringing, cleaning, and tuning, to even helping you pick out your own instrument!

Phil is a bassist, trombonist, composer, teacher, and arranger. He began playing trombone when he was 9 and picked up bass guitar when he was 14. It was at this time he started performing with a handful of bands covering a broad spectrum of genres. His early influences were wide-ranging, including classic rock and jazz fusion. In 2006 he was introduced to the upright bass through his high school’s jazz combo and pit orchestra.

In 2012 he graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies. Since then he has contributed and collaborated with countless ensembles and local and international artists in virtually every genre in the Chicagoland and surrounding area. Phil is currently involved with several active performing groups and provides studio bass tracking for Thirdfire Records and Bird Garden Studios. As a passionate musician, Phil teaches in order to help share and foster a love for music. He has been teaching since 2017. Phil is inspired by players of all instruments and artists of all mediums.

He currently offers guitar lessons and weekly group workshops at our beautiful Zen Loft studio! DM us to grab your jam-sesh with Phil today 🎸
