Here at the Center for Primary Care and Sports Medicine, our focus is the patient. We have not lost our passion to advocate for patients and remain free and independent of large hospital owned environments, which treat systems. Whether you are sick, injured or need a wellness exam, our physicians are here to serve you. Both our physicians are board certified in both family medicine and sports medicine. In office there is x-ray. lab, physical therapy and the ability to do procedures, splinting and casting. We work closely with an advanced imaging center. Our patients are guaranteed quality medicine, complete diagnosis and treatment in a cost neutral environment.
Dr. Kacmar is a family physician who is board-certified in both primary care and in sports medicine. A former athlete (collegiate football), Dr. Kacmar recognizes the value of preventing and treating sports injuries in the context of primary care. Dr. Kacmar attended Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois. After completing a fellowship in sports medicine at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, he worked in various settings, including family medicine, sports medicine, and as the medical director for physical therapy and outpatient rehabilitation. Today, he is the medical director for the Center for Primary Care and Sports Medicine, and he holds a teaching affiliation with Loyola University Chicago - Strict School of Medicine and Aurora University.
Dr. Qureshi is a primary care sports medicine physician board certified in family medicine and sports medicine. He completed his medical education at University of North Texas in Fort Worth, TX. He completed his family medicine training at SOVAH Health in Danville, VA. Having been a high school athlete and suffering from 2 meniscal tears in high school and medical school requiring arthroscopic repair, orthopedics and sports medicine are fields close to his heart. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at Campbell University in Lillington, NC. During his fellowship training, Dr. Qureshi had the opportunity to practice in various settings in sports medicine. He worked with Orthopedic Specialists of North Carolina where he trained in fracture care and US guided orthopedic injections. He had the honor of working with world class athletes in various setting including USA Tae Kwan Do State Championships, performing MMA physicals for UFC athletes, and covering the Iron Man Half Marathon in Raleigh, NC. He garnered experience working with NCAA division 1 athletes at Campbell University as well as worked as the team physician for Knightdale High School’s varsity football team. He holds a passion for orthopedic related research and focused on regenerative medicine during his fellowship where he developed a protocol for osteoarthritis of the knee.
