Safety Solved for Humans and Animals. Laurian Horowitz founded Safety Solved in 2009 to bring health and protection to the community, her family, and the world on a daily basis. Laurian and her staff have trained and certified thousands of adults and children over the years across the country. Each is licensed by the American Red Cross as Water Safety and Lifeguard Instructors and Instructor Trainers. In 2012, Safety Solved added American Heart Association training, followed by ASHI certifications in 2017. Nothing is more important than the safety of our workplaces and recreational environments. Proper education saves lives and prevents circumstances that may cause physical pain and emotional loss. We provide the licensing and certifications to solve your safety needs. Laurian’s unique background in Biology, Veterinary Technology, and as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) has enabled her to bridge the relationship between first responder and lay responder care. It led to her passion for saving the lives of both humans and animals. Since starting Safety Solved, the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce recognized awarded her “Best Relationship Builder in Metro Denver” in 2010, as well as “Leadership in Motion” and “Philanthropic Leader of the Year” in 2011. She also received the “Ron Skinner Award” from the Experience Pros for her enthusiastic work on “Be Involved, Give (BIG)” Day. Safety Solved continued to be a driving force in the effort until 2014, inspiring countless volunteers and nonprofits to continue to collaborate. Currently, Safety Solved, and Laurian are members of the Colorado Parks and Recreation Association, National Parks and Recreation Association, Association of Aquatics Professionals, and Polka Dot Powerhouse. Laurian is a mother and volunteers at her school, the Global Village Academy in Parker, CO.
