Spring belongs to the Liver — and the Liver governs emotional flow, not just detox.

When it’s balanced, you feel decisive, clear, compassionate.
When it’s strained: short fuse, self-criticism, resentment, snapping faster than you used to.

High-functioning adults tend to suppress frustration until it shows up physically — jaw, shoulders, cycle, sleep.

Compassion isn’t weakness.
It’s regulation.

If emotional volatility is affecting your leadership, relationships, or sense of self, that’s not something to “push through.”

It’s a physiological pattern.

Your Liver runs on flow.

When things get stuck, symptoms show up: irritability, tight hips, PMS, waking 1–3 a.m.

That’s stagnation.

Movement is medicine — simple, steady, rhythmic.
Walk. Lift. Stretch. Sweat. Breathe.

The question isn’t “Was it intense?”
It’s “Do I feel clearer after?”

Feeling stuck in your body, hormones, or life isn’t “just how you are.”
It’s a pattern — and we can help get things moving again.

Common ≠ normal.

If your cycle means canceling plans, pushing through cramps, clotting, heavy bleeding, brain fog, or snapping at people you care about — that’s not something you simply inherit.

Fibroids, endo, PCOS all matter…
But underneath them is a regulatory pattern that can be treated.

Pain is a signal — not a personality trait.
Our treatments reduce inflammation, improve pelvic circulation, and support hormonal flow so your cycle becomes predictable instead of disruptive.

You deserve to feel steady all month.

Spring is neck-and-shoulder season.
Wind outside + stress inside = the same tight tissues.

If you’re waking up with a stiff neck, pain turning your head, stubborn shoulder tension, or headaches at the base of your skull — your system is overloaded.

In Chinese Medicine, wind hits the upper body first. Add laptop posture + work pressure, and the Gallbladder channel locks up fast.

Heat, scarves, and topicals help.
But regulation fixes the pattern.

Most people feel relief quickly — often in one session. After a series, your neck becomes far less reactive.

If your neck is ruining your week, call/text (630) 299-3464 or book at http://www.atouchofginger.com.

Hello friends,

This is URGENT & extremely important!
We need ur help please!🙏🏼 🚨

Physical Therapist’s are trying to change their Scope of Practice in IL to include an acupuncture needle protocol we refer to as ‘NADA’ in Chinese Medicine.

They have already won once, changing their Scope to include Dry Needling which is the same thing as Orthopedic Needling in Acupuncturist’s Scope of Practice.

We need ANYONE who lives in IL to fill out TWO Witness Slips before Monday at 4pm (tomorrow!).

See screenshots for more details/directions on how to fill out TWO different slips please. It only takes a few minutes.

Share with EVERYONE you know who will help us please!! If you have any questions text our office at 630-299-3464 or DM us.

And, thank you so much for helping us maintain Chinese medicine within our scope of practice her in IL! 💟☯️

Winter is still here.

It's okay to slow down and say no to things that drain you.
It's okay to rest more than you think you "should."
Your body isn't asking you to be perfect. It's asking you to listen.
If what you're hearing is: "I need support. I need care. I need someone who understands what I'm going through."—We're here.

Acupuncture isn't just about needles. It's about giving your body the space, support, and care it needs to heal.
Let's finish this winter differently.
Not by pushing through, but by restoring.

Book your restorative session—call/text (630) 299-3464 or online at http://www.atouchofginger.com
Share this with someone who needs permission to slow down. Here's to a nourishing winter.
