Service Day is a time when Century Park leadership partners with associates in a selected department at our communities around the country in caring for the residents they serve. Through this act of service, we strengthen our teams and build even stronger relationships with our team members.

🌺✨ Friday night we wrapped up National Assisted Living Week with our End of Summer Luau! 🌴🌊 The rain couldn’t stop the fun—residents, families, friends, guests, and staff all gathered in the dining room for a night full of laughter, music, and memories. 🎶💃 Our dining team wowed everyone with an incredible spread 🍍🥥🍤, and to top it all off, we ended the evening with an amazing fire show! 🔥🌺 What a perfect way to close out a beautiful week of celebration! 💖

Friday's outing took residents up to Lookout Mountain, a historic landmark known for its breathtaking views of the Denver skyline and the Rocky Mountains. We also visited the Buffalo Bill Museum, where residents enjoyed learning about the legendary showman’s life and Wild West history. The day wrapped up with a delicious lunch at Woody’s Tavern in Golden—a perfect way to end an adventurous trip!

This week, our residents traveled to the charming mountain town of Nederland, CO! 🌲🏔️ Known for its quirky spirit and beautiful scenery, Nederland also carries a fascinating history. Founded in the mid-1800s as a trading post, the town later boomed with silver and tungsten mining. Its name—Dutch for “low land”—came from early Dutch settlers and investors who helped shape the community.

Today, Nederland is a lively mix of mountain charm, local shops, and unique culture. Our residents enjoyed exploring its streets, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and soaking up the rich history that makes this little town so special. 💙
