About Tea and Tombstones and Me

Admittedly, the name Tea and Tombstones may not immediately be a recognizable name for a tarot reader. I first came up with the name before I ever knew the meaning of a single card. Tea and Tombstones initially started out as a blog I created, hoping to write and discuss the deeper channel of emotions I was soaking in. The blog was a response to certain circumstances that I still processing months afterwards.

I needed to write about it, but I wasn’t finding my voice. Being a lifelong writer, this was a difficult burden to bear. I figured that if I could not find creation in a way that I had done so for decades, I would devote myself to being a student of something. I would find something to learn for the sake of learning and creating.

So I turned to tarot. I found myself in a way unlike anything before that emerged in me. When I started writing about tarot, I wanted to find a name that resembled my theory of what tarot is. I realized that Tea and Tombstones still fit. It invoked the comforting and the unknown, the simple and the complex, the fully understood and the sacred underpinnings of all life.

I will never look back now. My intuition may not have felt strong through those circumstances, but it all brought me here. Now, I am feeling that intuitive spirit profoundly. I invite you to be part of this space, and share your experiences. I invite you to participate with me in the creation of magick. I write custom spreads, create a monthly newsletter devoted to the tarot and oracle card of the month, and zines. There is more in the works, and each day is a part of the sacred creation of manifestation. Much love!
