We are excited to announce that Aurora Rides, a new free and on-demand microtransit service for adults 60-plus, launched in Aurora this week to provide rides within a limited service area and service hours.

The city contracted with Via, in partnership with the Regional Transportation District, for this grant-funded pilot program sponsored by Council Member Angela Lawson. The program provides older adults with transportation to local essential service or a way to connect to the greater metropolitan transit system.

Residents ages 60 and older may book a free ride within the designated service zone through the Aurora Rides app available in app store on Apple or Android devices or by calling 720.881.0197. On the app, just follow the simple steps to sign up for an account and book a ride.

The designated service zone is generally west of I-225 to the western Aurora boundary but also includes Heather Gardens. View the service map and find out more at https://zurl.co/Fu5yu.

Triple Crown Sports and Beautiful Lives Project team up to host 100 athletes with disabilities for a softball camp. Denver7 Sports was there to see the impact on the community.
