It was a fun celebration at the ribbon cutting for Handel's Ice Cream at Southlands - the first Handel's in Colorado!
Some ice cream fans showed up at 5 am today to be one of the first 50 when the store opened at noon - who could win free ice cream for a year! 48 homemade flavors of deliciousness.

This event highlighted the incredible service of the Colorado National Guard, the strength of our community partnerships, and our recognition as a Great American Defense Community by the Association of Defense Communities.

Yesterday, Kyle Lephart and Bridget Domenighini with Canine Partners of the Rockies presented to The Chamber's non-profit committee about the organization - that is dedicated to training highly skilled service dogs to enable Coloradans with disabilities to lead more independent and gratifying lives - while enriching community connections.
