APTA Colorado advances the practice of physical therapy in Colorado by advocating for physical therapist and patient interests, fostering collaboration among physical therapists across the state and practice disciplines, and providing continuing educational opportunities for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students of physical therapy.

APTACO Prez Rebekah Griffith presents to APTA national leaders on our big 2025 Colorado Medicaid win. Turning back MPPR and an 8.5% cut into a 1.7% payment increase through a coordinated lobby team effort and over 2,000 grassroots contacts to the legislature. .

Colorado Rehab Tri-Alliance Happy Hour

Join with friends from the APTA CO, OTAC and CSHA at Brewability in Englewood, CO on Saturday, July 26th from 3 pm - 6 pm. This is a great chance to network with colleagues from Speech and OT, while supporting a great local company. Brewability hires adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to create an inclusive community alongside remarkable beer and delicious food.

APTA Advocacy in Action. Faced with Medicaid payment cuts of 8.5%, the Colorado therapy community rallied and not only beat back the cuts, but won a 1.6% payment increase. APTA CO facilitated almost 2,000 contacts to Colorado legislators. Thanks to all who supported the effort. .

Medicaid therapy cuts are still on the table in Colorado. Big win in the Senate last week. Now we're on to the Colorado House.
