Our contest has begun. Our first submission from John. He says “We really enjoy the activities here at Bardwell! Chair yoga is a favorite, and we like ladder ball too. It was great fun playing balloon volleyball and Toni in front of me didn’t even get mad when I hit her in the head after I missed the balloon!”

Another wonderful week in Memory Care!

Some highlights for the week include: peeking out the windows daily to see all of the green trees 🌳 across the City of Aurora! Spring is Springing and we are enjoying it as much as possible! We made it out to the patio type this week! The first visit out was a mission to get our homemade bird feeders hung in the tree & relax! We enjoyed the magnificent weather while we chit-chatted and enjoyed the breeze and sunshine! Exercise, games & fun, church, gratitude, lots of fun Brain Games and so much more packed in to this week!

We are happy to welcome our new resident Joan P.

We had some unusual visitors in the form of DUCKS! A daughter brought her 2 ducks 🦆, Salty Quacker & Candbury, in for a visit! They unexpectedly arrived in a stroller and enjoyed a few saltine crackers and water while here. They stayed in their stroller & behaved!! We got a kick out of this surprise visit!

Mike Birthday is tomorrow so we celebrated today! We got our traditional group photo and enjoyed snacks. He didn't want us to sing Happy Birthday to him - so we didn't! Our gift to him!!! He will be 82! 😂
