Training and credentialing is continuing! The Patient Navigation and Community Health Worker Training program (PNCT) will continue to hold trainings for health navigators and CHWs. Dates for early 2026 will be announced soon.

PNCT staff was fortunate enough to attend the American Public Health Association Conference Nov. 2-5, in Washington, DC. Data analyst Shenazar (Shane) Esmundo presented at the Emerging Scholars Theater, which highlighted student research. There were also several sessions focused on CHWs and their great work around the country!

Patient advocates provide support, education, prevention, treatment, care and more, especially for the poor, marginalized and underinsured.
