Happy Earth Day, everyone!🌎

I started personal tradition a few years back going on a trash hike along the creek by my home as a way to give back to our beautiful planet.

Last year, I broke my ankle on an Earth Day run before I could pick up the trash🥴. This year, though recovering from a knee injury, I'm happy to report I kept the tradition alive 🫶

There's nothing like that feeling of picking up right where you left off after not seeing your Dutch Southeast Asian adventure friend for 9 1/2 years, especially after learning she'd be in Thailand at the same time as you 💁‍♀️🙌

From getting to swim, snorkel, and adventure to different islands with your family, to massive rainstorms and falling trees, rubix cubes, flying spiders, warm hugs, hand holds, and matching energy, along with innumerable laughs, I could have not even planned a better way to end my time in Southeast Asia, . And you haven't aged a bit❤️☀️🌴🐚

The universe most definitely wanted this reunion to happen, and it was totally worth changing my flights around to ensure it did. Thank you for your hospitality and treating me as part of your family on your summer adventures. Until we meet again, my fine friends😘🫶

I randomly saw "The Flower Market" on a map of Bangkok. And boy am I glad I checked it out! It's a daily local market selling flowers for Buddhist offerings. And p.s. that dragon was made by hand out of banana leaves and other live plants 🤯🤗
