March into mobility! Week 1!
We spent February loving our spine. Now in March, we're taking the next step-improving how we move every day, starting with the hips.
Focus: Hips & Low Back
*Sitting tightens hip flexors
*Tight hips pull on the low back
*Mobility reduces strain and improves alignment
Stretching just 3-5 minutes every day can make a big difference.
Here are two that I love:
1. 90/90 hip stretch
2. Standing hip flexor stretch
Some other things that can help are using magnesium bath salts, resistance training with elastic loops, and adjustments to support improved movement.
