Meeting Your Unique Needs

* Alzheimer's and dementia care
* Light housekeeping and homemaker services
* Grocery shopping and errands
* Incidental transportation
* Meal preparation
* Monitoring hydration and nutrition
* Medication reminders..and much more!

Touching Hearts at Home Denver Metro is locally owned and operated, combining the experience of owners Stacey Tabor and Franny Schmidt with the resources of a national home care company that has been providing non-medical companionship, caregiving, and homemaking services to seniors, adults with disabilities, and families battling illness since 1996. We all age in different ways, with different needs, at different times. Many adults with medical conditions, or seniors with the progressive changes that come with aging, choose to remain in the comfort of home. We make it possible by helping with the tasks of daily living. Our person-centered care provides the physical, emotional, and spiritual support that everyone deserves.

Touching Hearts at Home was honored to attend Reunion Inverness Rehabilitation Hospital’s Parkinson’s Educational Open House in recognition of National Parkinson’s Awareness Month.

The presentation on Parkinson’s and other movement disorders was extremely educational and engaging. The information shared about mobility, balance, and day-to-day strategies will truly help us strengthen our care plans and better support clients who are experiencing changes in movement and function at home.

We’re grateful to collaborate with organizations like Reunion Inverness that are dedicated to advancing care and improving outcomes for the people we serve. Partnerships like this make our whole community stronger.

Meet Lucy, our incredible On-Call Supervisor!

Lucy is the calm, capable voice you hear after hours and on weekends. She manages our caregivers when the office is closed, helps coordinate emergency care on weekends, and often meets new clients to get services started quickly and smoothly.

She has been part of the Touching Hearts at Home team for several years in many different roles, and she’s truly shining in her newest (and best yet!) role as On-Call Supervisor. We are so proud to have Lucy on our team and grateful for the steady support she provides to our clients, families, and caregivers.

Caregiving feels more manageable when you don’t have to hold everything in your head.

Simple routines can make a big difference.

Try this:
• Keep important information in one place
• Plan ahead when you can
• Write things down
• Take one step at a time

You don’t have to do everything at once. Progress in caregiving often looks like small, steady steps.

Save this for later when things feel overwhelming, and share it with another caregiver who could use support.

We are excited to announce that Hyla has been named our Caregiver of the Month for March!

Hyla is a dedicated, bright, and dependable member of our team. When asked why she enjoys working with us, she shared:

"I have been with the company for almost a year. What I really like about working with the company is how they show clients and caregivers that they care about them."

Please join us in congratulating Hyla on this well-deserved recognition.

The Englewood and Aurora teams presented our Safe Discharge Home program to an incredible group of hospital social workers during Social Work Month. The first 72 hours after discharge are critical, and I’m so proud of the system, team, and clinical support we’ve built to keep people safe at home with just a 1.4% readmission rate.

Our Englewood and Aurora offices are here to walk families through that scary “going home” moment and make it feel calm, supported, and hopeful. If you have a loved one coming home from the hospital, message me and I’ll personally help you explore whether this program is a fit.

During Women’s History Month, we’re proud to honor the women who lead Touching Hearts at Home — and the woman who started it all.

Founded in 2006 by Renae Peterson, Touching Hearts at Home was built on a simple but powerful belief: care should be personal, dignified, and rooted in compassion. Renae didn’t just create a home care company — she created a mission that continues to guide us every day.

This is what leadership looks like when heart leads the way.
