Cassandra B. is our Resident of the Week! 💚🖤💚🖤

Earning Client of the Week at Hazelbrook was a major high point in my life because it reflected the work I put into choosing sobriety and staying committed to it for the past 3+ years. Hazelbrook Sober Living gave me the structure and accountability I needed when I did not yet fully trust myself, and that became the foundation for where I am today. The peer recovery groups held me accountable, challenged me to be honest, and pushed me out of my shell when isolation felt safer. Through work and recovery, I learned how to show up consistently, communicate better, and believe in myself again. Every sober day, every meeting, and every completed shift helped build the life I have now. That foundation led me to Urban Alchemy, where I am able to help people experiencing homelessness with empathy and patience because I understand many of the struggles they face. I also understand the challenges of incarceration and rebuilding afterward, which has strengthened my ability to relate to others. This recognition represents my growth, resilience, and commitment to continuing on a straight and narrow path.

We're so proud of you, Cassandra! Here's to many great things ahead!
