2nd Moderna Dose walk-in available at FHS Cedar Park now!
Doses are available to anyone regardless of where the 1st dose was received.

If you received your first dose from FHS and you have lost your CDC card, the FHS Cedar Park location can help you make a new one. If you received both doses from FHS and have lost your card, you can also go to the FHS Cedar Park location to get a new one.

Pfizer 1st Dose Registration Update (See more recent update in comment below)

Everyone under 18 who registered with us ON OR BEFORE MAY 14 should have either received a scheduling invite or a 1st dose appointment from FHS. Please check your emails (Inbox/Junk).

If you have not received either, it would because you provided a non-unique email or made a typo in your email while registering with us. In this case, please register with us again with a correct and unique email id. The email you provide should not have been used for any previous registration with FHS.

Pfizer 1st dose Schedule for the Week of May 17

Monday, May 17: 9am - 8pm
Tuesday, May 18: 9am - 8pm
Thursday, May 20: 9am - 8pm
Friday, May 21: 9am - 8pm

Location: FHS ER at 3620 E Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park (it is a drive through site that will operate rain or shine)

Go to our website vaccinateaustin.org to sign up. We will schedule the 1st dose appointment for you. You will receive the confirmation email from FHS with exact date and time of the appointment. You will have the capability to reschedule or cancel.

2nd dose appointment will be set up onsite by FHS as soon as you receive the 1st dose.

FHS FIRST DOSE UPDATE

Pfizer 1st doses have arrived at FHS.

FHS will administer about 300 1st doses per day starting Friday, April 30.

This week's schedule for Pfizer 1st dose is:
Friday, April 30: 12 noon - 8pm
Saturday, May 1: 12 noon - 8pm

Location (drive-through):
Family Hospital Systems, Cedar Park location
3620 E Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park, TX 78613

An appointment is needed to get the vaccine. Please sign up at our website if you are looking to get the vaccine.

We are scheduling appointments for people aged 60 years and above who have pre-registered with us and will be sending out scheduling invites to people under 60 years of age. If you no longer need a vaccine from FHS, please cancel the appointment/ignore the portal invite.

2nd dose will be automatically scheduled for everyone by the next day and they will receive the appointment confirmation email from FHS.

This week, the schedule for FHS to administer Moderna 2nd dose vaccines is today, April 28th, and tomorrow, April 29th. Please arrive at your scheduled day and time to prevent significant delays. Austin Public Health and Central Texas Counties Vaccine Collaborative will offer walk-up vaccines until doses run out without an appointment this weekend.

APH will expand its online scheduling and pilot walk-up coronavirus vaccination operations from
Noon to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday
at the Delco Activity Center, 4601 Pecan Brook Drive, in northeast Austin.

For these walk-up events, residents 18 years or older can arrive without an appointment. Residents are not required to pre-register in the APH system. However, it is highly encouraged to create an account and pre-register at https://covid19.austintexas.gov/ before arriving at the clinic.

If these times and days don't work for you, you can still secure an appointment through APH's website. APH releases vaccine appointments every Monday and Thursday evening.

People who pre-registered with us in the past two weeks and are still waiting for the 1st dose can take advantage of this opportunity. As of now, we have no indications of when 1st dose appointments would be available with FHS, hence are unable to send out scheduling invites.

Curative has available appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine today, Wednesday, April 21, and tomorrow, Thursday, April 22, at the Round Rock Express Dell Diamond, 3400 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock. To schedule an appointment, go to: https://curative.com/sites/26169

This vaccination site is by appointment only with availability between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Curative offers the Pfizer vaccine, which is available for individuals 16 years and older. Those under 18 must have parent consent. They also are allowing appointments for people who are looking for a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

SECOND MODERNA DOSE FROM FHS

Everyone who receives the 1st Moderna dose through Family Hospital Systems (FHS) at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex will receive the 2nd dose through them at the same location (you will be notified if the location ever changes).

The 2nd dose appointment will be scheduled for a date that is within the 28-42 day window.

If you are at the 30 day mark after the 1st dose and have not received the 2nd dose appointment or been able to schedule it yourself by logging into the FHS portal, please let us know by filling out the 2nd dose scheduling form on our website at vaccinateaustin.org (it is posted below as well). If you have already filled it out, please be assured that you will receive an appointment that is within the 42 day window.

PLEASE NOTE: At this time, Vaccinate Austin is unable to help schedule the 2nd dose for people who did not receive the 1st dose from FHS.
