My step-daughter caught this picture of me up high at 11-mile canyon in CO. It feels so good to be present with the natural world. I wish we could go back and duly respect indigenous knowledge about how to be good stewards of Mother Nature!

My heart feels full today after spending time with “Karli Marx” Dr. John Stitt and “Sinclair” Geoffrey Harvey. They were in Austin to present their workshop “Queening Out: Drag as a Model and Mode of Exploration in Groups” through the Austin Group Psychotherapy Society. I love the idea of “q***ring” therapy spaces and look forward to applying that idea to my work.

Why am I paying for weapons that do this to my fellow humans and destroy our precious earth? How do Netanyahu and Trump keep winning at turning truth and humanity on its head? I invite you all to boycott Amazon and Chevron with me. Amazon is funding the AI that runs surveillance for ICE and the IDF (yes they are both using it to harm, torture, murder civilians) and Chevron runs the war machine business in Israel. What we give up for convenience is both destroying our earth and leading to the fascism that has always has roots in this country’s colonial and slave-holding foundations taking over fully in plain sight and terrorizing all of us. In making these 2 conscious choices about where I spend my money I have at least one action to take! Also without Amazon I am shopping locally and supporting local retailers and artists. But the action needs to catch hold. The one thing fueling the hostile takeover of the US is our collective agreement to not think about it or feel for those who suffer. Who will join me? Hi All. It has been hard for me to know what to post, My dear friend Ali Abusheikh’s beloved mother and brother have had to move yet again to get out of the way of Israeli bombs paid for by my state and federal tax dollars, all while his mother and brother are starving, and to get food is to risk being shot by Israeli troops. I am making this charm, one for Ali, one for me, (with a silver heart in Gaza when it is finished) to connect us, to help us hold onto our love for humanity and belief that one day we all can be free, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, secular, q***r, all of us, from every river to every sea. Have we not learned that Netanyahu and Trump, hand in glove, have agreed to obliterate Gaza’s indigenous population? ❤️💚⚫️⚪️✌️ 🇵🇸

Today I am feeling grateful for my sister, , for her kind acceptance of me as I am on our beach trip together last week. My deepest childhood legacy is a painful internal struggle with my mistakes and social fumbles. She offered me a kindness that embodied wisdom of generations of our wounded ancestors, and something in me has calmed.

I am glad to take my dear friend ‘s lead in donating to the This snippet was from an article in The Guardian. If this doesn’t horrify us, if we let ourselves conflate Hamas (a terrorist organization bolstered by Netanyahu pre-10/7 to ensure that a 2 state solution including peace and land for Palestinians would never happen) and the Palestinian people, who are we? What have we done?!?
