In the farm theme, students learn, through a farm dramatic play, what the life of a farmer is like. What animals live on the farm, everything about the farm animals, how they are born, what they feed on, what sound they do, what each part of their body is called, what products come from each animal, how many years they live, What other products come from a farm?,
How farms help the country’s economy.
What is the daily routine of a farmer?
We learn about natural sciences, mathematics, Spanish, and do sensory activities.
Over time kids develop skills relating to:
Investigators, inquirers, reflective, caring, knowledgeable, etc.

“La inteligencia espacial proporciona la capacidad de pensar en tres dimensiones. Permite al individuo percibir imágenes externas e internas, recrearlas, transformarlas y modificarlas, recorrer el espacio o hacer que los objetos lo recorran y producir o decodificar información gráfica”.

Se cree que no tiene que ver con el estímulo sensorial de la imagen, sino con un “ojo mental” que comprende las imágenes para transformarlas en dibujos, ideas, objetos o creaciones. De esta forma, un arquitecto visualiza un edificio que todavía no existe o un escultor ve una forma en un bloque de mármol.

En cuanto a los niños, se piensa que la habilidad de la inteligencia espacial es predictiva de un buen desempeño en STEAM (ciencias, tecnología, ingeniería, arte y matemáticas).
