Today is babe day. It’s my Mimi’s birthday. I never met her. She passed before my mother became pregnant with me. My mom lost her mother while she was becoming a mother herself. When I became a mother, I needed my mom so much. I hold compassion for my mom. I hold grief for myself. I hold curiosity about the strong woman who came before me. I celebrate her short life today. She gave me so much, without ever holding me.

So excited to TA for capstone with tomorrow!

I took this course years ago, and I learned so much then.

I TAed this course right after Grant was born (Alex brought him to me to nurse and snuggle when I wasn't assisting in lab 💓) and I learned so much then.

The third time around, I am still learning from this material! I have so much gratitude to have time and space to TA. I'm looking to meeting my fellow practitioners in class tomorrow!

I love this idea of an acute care OB PT program. Really getting my juices flowing. What a great way to support our community members and capture our community birthing people before they become chronic.
