Since he was 5 years old, Dr. Parthasarathy dreamed of becoming a physician. With the grace of God and support of his family he was granted that dream. Dr. Parthasarathy was a Presidential Scholar and graduated with Honors from the University of Miami and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and completed his Residency Training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia. He completed Fellowship training in Non-operative Spine and Sports Medicine at the prestigious Sports Orthopedics and Rehabilitation (S.O.A.R.) clinic, affiliated with Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. Since completing formal training, Dr. Parthasarathy has amassed over thirty years of expertise in diagnosing and treating a large variety of complex orthopedic and neurological conditions. During this time, he also received academic appointments to multiple medical schools including Stanford University, Oregon Health Sciences University, Georgetown University, and most recently Dell Medical School at the University of Texas. He has been a life-long learner and educator and has trained medical students and resident doctors throughout his career and has lectured nationally and internationally on various musculoskeletal and pain conditions. He enjoys educating his patients and is a strong proponent of engaging patients to participate in their health maintenance. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and is also Board Certified in Pain Management.
