Dr. Arpit Patel grew up in Rockford, IL, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry and is excited to provide comprehensive eye care for the patients of Lone Star Eye.

Upon graduating, Dr. Patel continued to pursue his academic interests and went on to complete a residency in Ocular Disease at Omni Eye Services in Atlanta, Georgia. He worked directly with ophthalmology to provide pre and post-operative care for glaucoma and cataract surgeries. Furthermore, Dr. Patel has extensive training in treating and managing ocular emergencies as well as retinal disease including diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Dr. Patel is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry and a member of American Optometric Association.

In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time attending concerts, exploring the Austin coffee shops and playing tennis/golf.

Dr. Jordan Reyes serves the Austin community and surrounding areas as a therapeutic optometrist and certified optometric glaucoma specialist.

Dr. Reyes grew up in Denton, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology. Following graduation, Dr. Reyes decided to escape the Texas heat and move to Chicago, where he attended the Illinois College of Optometry and earned his Doctor of Optometry, cm laude. During his four years in Chicago, he was an active member of Beta Sigma Kappa, an international optometric honor society. He has a special interest in the treatment and management of dry eye syndrome, ocular disease, and glaucoma.

In his free time, you can find Dr. Reyes exploring the Austin area looking for the best new restaurants, or at a Longhorn football game!

Dr. Casey Packer and the Lone Star Eye team are pleased to introduce Dr. Arpit Patel and Dr. Jordan Reyes. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice and are available to see patients immediately.
