Texans helping Texas. Bodyworx ATX is proud to partner with Convoy of Hope to aide in relief efforts from the devastating floods in Texas. Thru the end of July, Bodyworx will donate proceeds from any add-ons to any massage session as well as a portion of proceeds from Bitch Balm to Convoy of Hope.

Just had my 6 week post-op follow-up with the surgeon. Have been officially discharged from the sling. Graduation Day!! 👩‍🎓 🙌🎉. Making mad gains. Will be flexin’ soon. ❤️💪

For anyone out there that has struggled with the roller coaster of emotions, mental exhaustion and physical pain sustained by an accident or rehabilitation from an orthopedic injury, I highly recommend reading Jeremy Renner’s memoir “My Last Breath”.

Although his circumstances and injuries greatly surpass anything I have experienced. His story is relatable and puts my situation into perspective.

Jeremy’s gripping and inspiring story of his near-fatal accident proves the power of inner strength, endurance and overcoming the odds of his recovery.

Incredible summer read.

Just wanted to show off this amazing shoulder immobilizer I found to wear as I gradually return to my Hotworx workout sessions.

It was such a relief to move without constantly being strangled by a sling.

It has been such a struggle to remain patient as my shoulder heals.

For those of you who know me personally, you can imagine the inability to use my arm for 6 weeks has been tough.

Sometimes injuries can take you to a dark place. The emotional strain is often worse than the physical pain.

This journey has been very humbling. I have so much appreciation for my overall health and physical abilities.
I am constantly reminding myself that this is only temporary.

I know this experience will only make me a stronger human being and better therapist for my clients.
