It’s a new year & time for a re-introduction with all the new followers!

Hello, everyone, I am Dr. Bria Savage- founder & owner of Savage Physical Therapy! I am a native of Monroe, LA & currently reside in Atlanta, GA. I’ve been a physical therapist for over 6 years now & primarily work in orthopedics and sports.

While I was an athlete growing up, I realized my lane was best lived by helping & not competing (lol). And that’s okay! I love helping others live, move, compete, and recover better!

When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring the city, eating good food, boxing, dancing, at church, traveling, & spending time with family & friends. If you see me out & about, please come say hi!

It’s that time of year again where my brother & I award $500 scholarships to 2 seniors at our alma mater, Wossman High School! This is our 5th year awarding this scholarship & it is one of our favorite ways to give back to the high school that helped shape the individuals we are today.

My family is also continuing our scholarship, the Rosie Augurson Memorial Scholarship, in honor of my late great-grandmother. She was so special to us. With only a 6th grade education & a life of labor picking cotton and cleaning houses, she ensured all of her descendants pursued higher education and “got our lesson”. She was a beacon in the church & the community, fostering numerous children and praying for whoever needed it.

If you know a senior at WHS, please encourage them to apply!

It’s been an amazing 5 yrs with things really taking off in the past 2yrs. It felt like it was time for a refresh & re-introduction. I’m so grateful to God for all He has allowed me to do through SPT & this is only the beginning!
