Our beloved Ronald C. Boucher (El Indio), age 65, resident of Pflugerville, was taken to his Eternal Home on Monday, February 3, 2025.
Ron was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was a member of the Oneida Tribe. His passion was to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a long-distance truck driver. Ron traveled all over the United States in pursuit of his dreams and held onto that dream for 25 great years. Ron (El Indio) enjoyed being around his biker community, hanging out with his close friends and for a moment he had his hand in creating beautiful bead and leather works.
He thoroughly enjoyed being around all of his family and not a day went by that he didn’t make someone laugh from his silliness.
He is reunited with his parents, William E. Boucher and Esther Steffes-Boucher; and brothers, Robert “Bob” Boucher, and Kenny Boucher.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 35 beautiful years, Maria R.Boucher; Children, Jose Rios (Holly), Adam Rios, Christina Donoso (Paul), Curtis Rios, Kenny Boucher, Mike Boucher, Ron Rauch and Joe Rauch; 27 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Brothers; David Boucher, Rick Boucher, Donny Boucher, and Scott Boucher; and sisters, Beverley Metzger, June Richter and Libby Ditterman; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., with prayer services beginning at 11:30 a.m., at Austin-Peel Son Funeral Home, 607 East Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas, with intermittent to follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
