Meet Brett Stockton, Case Manager at our Lucent Transitional Homes 👋

Brett draws on years of experience managing aftercare and sober-living programs, supervising care teams, and supporting individuals as they transition back into independent living.

He seamlessly pairs structured recovery practices with practical life-skills coaching to help clients build stability in housing, employment, relationships, and daily routines. Known for his steady leadership, clear communication, and compassionate presence, he approaches each client with empathy and encouragement.

Guided by both professional training and personal recovery experience, Brett is committed to helping others create meaningful and lasting change. Outside of work, he enjoys music, outdoor adventures, spiritual growth, and time with his dog, Freckles.

The time has finally come for our Director of Operations, Scott Hammond, to say “goodbye”.

While we couldn’t be more excited for him to see his professional dreams fulfilled by becoming a teacher, his absence will be felt by all. Thank you for your years of dedication and passion, and for all of the laughs.

Luckily, his legacy will live on at our Transitional Home, now deemed “Hammond House” for years to come!

Meet Jessie Morrone, LPC-Associate at Lucent Recovery & Wellness and a proud graduate of Seminary of the Southwest with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Jessie believes healing begins with self-esteem and the belief that you are worthy of a life filled with hope, growth, and possibility.
She’s trained in Flash Technique and takes a trauma-informed, person-centered approach—infusing sessions with creativity, curiosity, and the occasional dark-humored joke.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll find her baking, lifting at the gym, or geeking out over D&D and musicals.

We are thrilled to introduce one of our newest Mental Health Coaches: Sami Ouda! 🙌

With over six years of experience in the recovery field, Sami Ouda brings a grounded, relational approach to his work. His background includes direct client care and program leadership, including several years as an Executive Director. Sami leads with consistency, honesty, and experience, meeting clients where they’re at and helping them reconnect with who they are and what matters most.

Sami is a certified Recovery Support Peer Specialist and is currently pursuing a degree in Social Work with plans to earn his master’s. His work is shaped by personal recovery and years of supporting others, creating space for clients to be honest, move through discomfort, and build lives that feel worth living.

Outside of Lucent, Sami is a husband, a father of two, and an avid golfer. He spends most of his free time with his family or out on the course, staying grounded and connected in the same ways he encourages his clients to.

We are thrilled to have Sami in our client’s corner!
