Correcting the curve starts with awareness and breath.
In this side-lying position, we guide the patient to gently shift their spine out of the curve while expanding the compressed side of the rib cage. The breath helps open the areas that collapse with scoliosis and teaches the body a new pattern of alignment.
Small, specific corrections practiced consistently can create meaningful change over time.
Scoliosis-specific exercise is about retraining the body, not just strengthening it.
