The Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association IDEA Committee is partnering with LumaDent to award TWO pairs of 2.5x Galilean TTL custom-fitted loupes—one to a dental hygiene student and one to a practicing dental hygienist! 🦷👓

✅ Who can apply?

Must be a professional or student ADHA member.

💡 The IDEA Committee (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access) works to create a dental hygiene profession that embraces and celebrates diversity while promoting access, representation, and cultural competence—empowering hygienists to provide compassionate, high-quality care to all Texans.

⏰Texas now requires fingerprinting for all licensees☝
Starting January of 2026, if you have not been fingerprinted for your license, expect a notification from the board requesting a fingerprint background check 90 days before renewal. If you received your license before 2016 this will affect you.

We asked and y'all made it happen! Thank you to all the components, members and participants who donated to the Back to School Drive! During our August Board Meeting, all the supplies were delivered to the Fearless Life Church in Waco, Texas where they will be properly distributed!
