Cellulite vs. Loose Skin on the Back of the Thighs — They’re Not the Same (and most people have BOTH).
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from patients is thinking cellulite and loose skin are the same thing. They’re actually caused by two completely different issues in the tissue.
✨ Cellulite happens when fibrous bands under the skin pull downward on the fat, creating that dimpled or “orange peel” appearance.
✨ Loose skin is a loss of collagen and elastin that causes the skin to look crepey, lax, or saggy.
And on the back of the thighs, it’s incredibly common to have both happening at the same time.
That’s why today we treated this patient with a combination approach for the best possible outcome:
✔️ Avéli to precisely release the cellulite bands causing the dimples
✔️ Quantum RF to stimulate collagen, tighten the skin, and improve laxity
When we treat the structure AND the skin, the results look smoother, tighter, and more natural.
This is one of my favorite treatment combos for the b***y and back of the thighs because it addresses the real anatomy of the problem instead of just treating one layer.
If cellulite or skin laxity on the thighs has been bothering you, there are solutions.
