Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are a hormone that play a role in your appetite and digestion.
It mimics a hormone called glucagon-like peptide that targets areas in the brain that regulate appetite and food intake. Your digestive tract releases this incretin hormone after you’ve eaten a meal, lowering your blood sugar by triggering insulin release to block sugar production.
It also slows down how quickly food leaves your stomach (called gastric emptying).
The result of these actions causes you to feel full — lowering your appetite and ultimately leading to weight loss making it an effective treatment option for weight control.

Starting Treatment: The Initial Visit:
1. Baseline weight and waist measurement
2. BMI
3. Lab Requisitions
4. Discuss treatment and goals
We will then review the risk vs. benefit profile of Semaglutide/Tirzepatide and show you how to perform the subcutaneous injections.
Your follow-up visits will occur once a month with the NP and we will check your labs every 6 months or sooner as needed.
Expect to lose anywhere from 10-20% of your starting body weight your 1st year, depending on how well you adhere to a daily exercise routine and whether or not you are making the necessary dietary changes. LIFESTYLE changes are a must for you to meet your goals.
