What does it mean to LIVE A GREAT STORY? 💫

The beauty of it is that you get to decide what that story is for you. You are the creator, the planner, the builder, and the actualizer of your own story. ❤️

All we need are some key ingredients…one of which for each of us is CONNECTION…to self, to nature, to others, and to something bigger than ourselves, whether we call that God, the Divine, Source, Universe, etc…. We are all connected through this vibrational energy. 🙌🏼

How do you spend time connecting with your own spirit and Source? Nature is my pathway. Find yours and bring that story to life!!

This is what happens when two foodie gals go to Greece and enjoy the cuisine so much that they must come back and cook it all for their friends. We had a blast seeing the enjoyable consumption of these delicious dishes at our Taste of Greece party 🇬🇷. 🇬🇷

Sedona is considered a spiritual Mecca for it is believed to be a special place on earth where the electromagnetic field of the earth is particularly strong. You can see the twisted juniper trees and imagine the swirl of energy available in the region that helps deepen a spiritual connection within yourself. How we then incorporate these meditative and mindfulness practices in everyday life is important to being connected with our own authenticity and BEing present everyday. Through this presence we discover joy in the smallest nuances of life and can practice gratitude. How have you been mindful today? Comment below your simplest practices.

As a general principle I do not accept gifts from clients, but there are certain gifts that can’t easily be gifted to someone else. 🤓
💕
In all honesty, I believe I receive gifts from my clients greater than anything I could ever give them. Entrusting me with their life stories and being present in their vulnerability is the gift of human connection. Being with someone as they explore the depths of their psyche is a journey I will always treasure. If the manner in which I’m able to just be ME in doing so makes me the worlds Best Clinical Psychologist and/or Transformational Coach, then i have found my life’s work.
💕
Thank you to all my clients past and present who have contributed to the deep meaningfulness of my life ❤️.

TREE OF LIFE

Looking out on the back deck of my parent’s home in Austin, Texas at 10AM on the morning of April 20, 2020.

🌳

As I gaze upon the 500 year old tree behind their home, I’m reminded that life endures. Through each challenge our roots deepen and widen as we develop the strength and resilience to weather all storms. And, as we branch out and provide protection to others that’s rooted in LOVE, we discover that we can grow stronger together 💞.
🌳

I send much love out to each of you across the globe. So thankful and inspired to be connected here. It’s a reflection of our common humanity. Please tell me where YOU are and what you’ve gained from this time as we spiritually hold hands across the world.

HUG YOUR PET TODAY!!

We are living in a different world where our pets are so grateful for the time they have with us, and we are benefiting from their presence in our lives.

Psychologically, Emotional Support Animals (ESA)/pets help us to cope with feelings of anxiety or depression as we experience stress in our environment.
❤️

For those of us who have the luxury of securing in the safety of our own homes, we may be feeling a sense of social isolation and loneliness; but this is where we are thankful for our precious pets… Charlie, Hank, Izzy, Marly, (fill in blank of your pet’s name)…and the time they are at our side.
❤️

Seems whenever I lay down on the couch to read, Charlie immediately finds his place on my chest where our hearts merge and he provides a sense of comfort and connection. You can find him at my side as my accompanist when I play piano. He’s there as my best friend. 😻
❤️

ESAs have a sixth sense about reading our needs and knowing when we need extra care and touch. Tactile touch as we pet our furry friend helps ward off feelings of anxiety through connection. It eases our nervous system and releases endorphins that help us cope with the feelings of anxiety.
❤️

Additionally, as we spend time feeding, walking, playing, petting our pets, we focus on delivering compassion to our buddies and that helps to reduce our anxious thoughts.
❤️

Who is your furry friend and what is your favorite way to spend time together? Post a picture here I’d love to see your pet, aka BFF!!
❤️
