I’m so excited to have found this beautiful obsidian ‘needle’ at today!

Teishin needles have been a part of Chinese medicine for non-insertion acupuncture/acupressure and are wonderful options for those who are nervous about needles and/or for points that tend to have more sensation with regular needles.

Can’t wait to put this sweet tool to use. ♥️

This book is wonderful.

So is the library system!

So is living life with an orientation towards joy regardless of the circumstances. These two are powerful examples of how this can be done.

I think we sometimes write off joy as frivolous, childish, inappropriate or superficial. But, what are we “doing the work” for if not to enhance our capacity for joy?

I hope you find something wholesome and mundane to laugh about today, I hope you remove any internal blocks to joy, I hope you go visit your local library.

I still find it absurd that so many of my “titles” have been determined by my romantic relationship status, I still love this lil trajectory of my life. What I love most about this Dr. title is that it helps define my relationship with YOU. I love getting to be part of your health and wellness journeys.
While my firm belief is that you are the expert of your own body, I am deeply honored to be part of the collaboration in your care.

Wow. You guys.
I had no idea I’d even been nominated until after the voting had ended and a kind soul casually mentioned voting for me. Lol. I was so touched and baffled. I reached out to and asked if they could share who nominated me so I could thank them. And, they said there were several nominations, so excuse me as I pick my melting heart off the floor. I still don’t know which sweethearts nominated me or all the sweethearts who voted me into second place, but THANK YOU!!!!!!!! 🙏
This means so much to me. Honestly a little teary eyed and overwhelmed right now.
I love what I do and I love the people I get to do it with.

Laughter is medicine.
I am convinced that the vibration of laughter has healing properties. Especially when shared with someone you love completely.
I am so blessed to laugh easily, laugh often and surround myself with people who laugh with me. And, I’ve also worked hard to get here.
When is the last time you laughed until your belly ached, tears streamed down your face and you had to gasp for a moment of air to sputter out “I can’t breathe” before another fit of laughter wracked your body?
Lean into joy. It’s an act of rebellion in a world that profits off despair.

I shared a vulnerable story with a friend about a vision I had while deep in a meditation. It involved a dragon and a wolf. She came across this image and sent it to me- also recognizing that I’d love the heart shape.

This is love in action. To be heard, seen, recognized, thought of. . . Little acknowledgments that show you’ve been noticed. This is how intimacy builds. Slow openings that include offerings from our inner worlds. The receiver of these offerings has the opportunity to do what did and hold them tenderly in their hearts. And share a bit of themselves in return.
