Over the last 90 days, we’ve all come to love Zack like our own. He’s not just Zack from Pug Rescue, he’s THE ZACK. A happy, SWEET, playful 4 year old that was unfortunately diagnosed with Caval Syndrome, a life-threatening condition that is caused by heartworms blocking the blood flow in his heart.
As long as everything goes well today at his cardiology consult, Zack will be getting surgery to remove the heartworms. Although, the prognosis for this condition is poor to guarded, our love for him is BIGGER so we KNOW he will make it through!! 💪🏼

Thank you to his foster who will be transporting him to Texas A&M and to our Westlake staff for caring for him during his time here. Most importantly, thank you to our assistants, the ones who spent their every day, walking, feeding and playing with him. We’re most CERTAIN he knew all along that he’s always had a home here!! We love you Zack!! YOU GOT THIS 💪🏼
