The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released its Home Health proposed rule for CY 2026, introducing the largest cuts to home health in recent history—over $1 billion in funding slashed in a single year. Home health agencies cannot sustain another round of devastating cuts without risking care for the patients and families who depend on these vital services.
