At Brookdale, we often talk about living our mission, but sometimes, someone shows us exactly what that looks like in action. Wendy has always been one of those associates who go above and beyond for our residents, but this past weekend, she reminded us what it truly means to build relationships that last, even when someone we care about moves away. Lillie, one of our beloved longtime residents, recently relocated to another Brookdale community across town. On her day off, Wendy didn’t just check in with Lillie, she showed up. She spent the afternoon helping her unpack, organize, and settle into her new apartment. She even delivered donation boxes for her to Goodwill. Wendy’s extraordinary kindness, generosity, and heart for others embody everything we value in our Brookdale family. Thank you, Wendy for reminding us all what true caring, connection, and community look like. We’re so very grateful for you!
