It's back to school time...
Feeling drained by the classroom? Drained by the never ending back to school list for your kids?

Teacher burnout is at an all-time high, with many educators carrying overwhelming stress, exhaustion, and compassion fatigue. Back to school for parents can be one of the hardest times of the year.
Here are 3 strategies you can start today to manage overwhelm:
1️) Regulate your breath- your breathing tells your mind and body how to respond in the present moment. Short, quick breaths= stress. Long, deep breaths= relaxation.
2) Ground yourself- this can be as easy as feeling the chair your in, smelling your morning cup of coffee, listening to calming music, etc. It's important to do this with intention- concentrate, focus and immerse yourself in your grounding mechanism.
3) Movement- the body stays still, stoic, stiff when in distress. Movement allows the body to process out and away the stress of the moment or day.
