🎄✨ Christmas Cheer at CDC South! ✨🎄

Ms. Deleasha truly made this Christmas extra special by hand-picking and personally delivering a blanket to each child, courtesy of Project Linus 💝🧸.

Every child was absolutely delighted—happily ripping open their bags with big smiles as they discovered school supplies and the special blanket chosen just for them. The moment was made even sweeter with extra special snuggles and hugs shared during the gifting, filling the room with warmth, comfort, and holiday love 🤗❤️.

These are the moments that truly matter! ✨🎁

✨🎄 Festive Fun at CDC South! 🎄✨

CDC South Director Deleasha and Committee Chair Ms. Thalishka truly outdid themselves by transforming the conference room into a festive Bag Bar for our amazing CDC South staff! 👜💖

Staff got to choose a brand-new canvas tote and personalize it with all the letters and patches their hearts could desire, plus an adorable ribbon for the handle. The creativity was flowing—and the mini irons were the crowd favorite! 🔥✨

As if that wasn’t enough, they also hand-delivered extra-large Santa bags 🎅🎁 that each parent filled with goodies straight from their Amazon wishlists—spreading even more joy and holiday magic to our CDC South staff!

Happy Staff is what makes CDC South so special! 💚✨

We are so grateful to Caliber Collision and Henna Chevrolet for their generous bike donation to every student in our Head Start classroom!

Yesterday, Santa himself made a special visit to help deliver the bikes, and the smiles on the children’s faces said it all—pure joy and excitement filled the room! 🎅✨

🎉 Building Culture, One Friday at a Time! 🎉

At CDC South, building a strong, fun, and connected culture is a priority—and our Director, Mrs. Deleasha, leads the way! Every Friday, she takes the Woot Woot Wagon around with a special treat, and sometimes she brings games and surprises for the staff to enjoy.

This Friday, we played “Don’t Forget the Lyrics”, and wow—did you know the CDC South staff could sing like rock stars?! 🎤✨ Everyone had a blast, and each staff member received prizes as they sang—some even walked away with up to 5 prizes each!

The excitement didn’t stop there:
🏆 One classroom won $50 to Lakeshore Learning to spend on their class.
💆‍♀️ And our grand prize winner, Ms. Maureen, walked away with a $150 spa gift card!

It’s these moments—treats, games, and shared laughter—that bring people together, strengthen bonds, and build a positive culture. At CDC South, we celebrate, collaborate, and connect every chance we get! 💛
